A German Pastor??

I had to make a phone call about some German Shepherds some years ago. Now, the word for Shepherd in Spanish is the same as the word for Pastor. Well, me being very “green” in my Spanish understanding, I understood that I was to call and speak to a Pastor Alemán (German Shepherd). So I called and asked to speak with the German Pastor (so I thought) about the German Shepherds. The lady on the other line was acting weird and said that the German Pastor wasn’t available to talk right now and I should call back later. I though little of it until we received an email on behalf of the dog, kindly thanking us for calling and that he was a very good dog from a good family, and available for purchase. Needless to say, we all felt pretty ridiculous. I had called and asked to speak with the dog! No wonder the lady was acting strange – she probably thought I was nuts!
