This morning I had the wonderful experience of picking limes (which, by the way, are God's gift to mankind). Much to my dismay, I found out that lime trees actually have thorns! I decided not to climb the tree today, and stuck with the limes within reach. Thunder was rolling in the background... it has been quite rainy here recently. This has been an active tropical storm/hurrican season, but thank God we have not been hit by any... just a healthy portion of rain. Well, I praise God for the limes, the thorns, and the thunder of life: the sweet things, the not-so-nice-things, and the majestic rumblings of things we cannot control. Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord!
