You Never Know...

You never know how a simple word of encouragement or testimony can change the course of eternity for a precious life. Just the other night I was ministering in worship at a youth event way out (and I mean way out) in a beautiful rural area about 1 hour from Nagua. During the musical worship time, a brother shared a special song with those who were in attendance. I did not realize it then, but after the meeting, I stepped over to chat with this brother. With a big smile on his face he said "Do you remember when you stopped at the repair shop and talked with me about Jesus?..." It suddenly dawned on me that one rain day I tucked into a repair shop and started chatting with a young man behind the desk. Well, not long after that day he returned to the Lord from being wayward and is now ministering in the church! Praise God for how He drew this young man to Himself through a rain storm and a simple, brief conversation! May we never underestimate how lovingly witnessing about Christ wherever we go can make such an impact as the Holy Spirit works through us.
