Hurricane Near Miss

We are praising the Lord... hurricane passed about 100km east of us, and we were left unscathed by its winds. I woke up at about 3AM Tuesday morning with some heavy winds, but that was all. It really is a miracle. If the hurricane would have entered the Dominican territory, it would have been very bad for thousands of people in this area. Our town of Nagua being right on the Atlantic facing east, we are especially thankful for the hurricane's turn north. We now pray for the residents of the eastern part of the US who are bracing for a Cat 3 Irene.
