Kilometer 5

Last night we all went out to Kilometer 5, a neighbourhood on the outskirts of Nagua, to lead an open-air service for the community and several churches. I led worship with part of our Nagua worship team, and then translated for the main message, which was on Unity. It was a powerful message that touched the hearts of all in attendance. Two young men came forward to accept the Lord at the end of the service. Please pray for them, that they would remain firm in their decision and their new walk with Christ. What was also very exciting was the fact that the pastor who invited us to do the service is one of our Bible Institute graduates. This is a relatively new church plant that has been growing thanks to the Lord's work and vision implanted within this servant of God. Little by little we are seeing how the Bible Institute is affecting this region. Praise God that we can be a part in equipping His saints to advance the kingdom of God here in the Dominican Republic!
