On My Way y Jehová es mi pastor

Well, my friends. I am on my way. Praise the Lord they accepted my luggage in Buffalo - now we are praying it will arrive in Santiago tomorrow morning. I will tell you more of this story later...

But I just finished talking with family back home via that MSN voice thing - I am quite impressed. Almost as clear as a normal phone. And considering I am in JFK on a wireless hotspot, adn they are in Brampton, and that the conversation was real-time... not bad at all. I am very thankful for family.

But yes, after a good cup of coffee, and some reading and quiet time I should be ready to start the next leg of my journey. Over the Atlantic Ocean to Santiago, just a little south of Puerto Plata. After I arrive, Adrian Thomas, Jim Larson and I will head back to Nagua. We should be there by around 8 or 9AM.

Thanks to my Spanish brothers and sister, I now have the whole New Testament in spanish on my little mp3 player. That will be so cool! Already listened to Ephesians. What a cool way to be soaked in Spanish! :)

I met a nun in the Buffalo airport. We talked a bit. She used to teach in the Bronx. Very nice lady. It was a great conversation, praise God! And then... they fed me cookies and water on the plane! Yay! That was nice of them. :) They were good cookies.

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not be in want... I was going over the 23rd Psalm... those are some pretty amazing words about our awesome God. We are incompetent, silly sheep, in desperate need of someone! But praise the Lord - we have a shepherd and we shall not be in want. I think that means finding the fulfillment of our desires in Him. He is our satisfaction. Our greatest treasure.

May God bless you all. Keep up the good fight of faith! I may not be able to post for awhile... but I will do so as soon as I can. Thanks for your prayers everyone!! Can't wait to get to the Dominican!! :)

Grace and peace!

Yours in Him,

Ryan
