He Is Raising Up Worshippers

Greetings in the Name of the Lord Jesus!

It is with much excitement I write to you all! A new year has dawned, and is already sprinting full out on this year’s track. I would like to share with you some of the things that are burgeoning in my spirit for these coming months. It is amazing how the Lord works!

The excitement rising up in my spirit is very difficult to pen, for the Lord has been doing some incredible things. When I arrived back in Nagua from my first furlough in 2008, I felt a strong desire to get together with the worship leaders of the area and worship the Lord together. At the time, I did not understand it, but the Lord has now made it clearer. Through Every Day Ministries, I had the great privilege of leading Musical Worship Ministry Training. As a result, we have graduated two classes (a total of around 50 people) from our training course. About a month ago, I met with a group of 11 graduates with the purpose of forming an intercessory prayer/worship group. As we knelt it silence before the Lord, it was awesome confirmation to see how He brought all this about. Now, more than ever, we all need to pray and seek the face of our Father for His mercy, grace, protection, salvation, healing, and the fulfillment of the Great Commission. We believe He is looking for true worshippers to stand in the gap for His people and for the lost and hurting. He is looking for people to be vessels for His presence, carriers of His glory, and lovers of His heartbeat. There is truly nothing than can compare with standing in the Holy of Holies, breathing the fragrance of God’s glory, and being overwhelmed by the quiet and deafening sound of His beautiful heartbeat.

Between the dates of February 15 and April 9, I will be in the Toronto area on furlough. I will be available to share in churches between those dates. Please contact me if you know of an opportunity in your church or small group to come and share. It would be a great joy for me to tell you what the Lord has put on my heart for the Dominican Republic, and how He is raising up a people after His own heart. Also, I will need to raise some more monetary support while I am in Canada. To be able to continue with my ministry here, I need to raise $750 Canadian additional funds per month, due to rising costs of living, vehicle expenses for the pickup truck I purchased, and other personal ministry needs. For this I need your help, and am also so grateful to those who have been supporting me. I am looking for 30 more people that are willing to give $25 a month towards this ministry. If you are able to do this, please see the attached response form. Most importantly, please PRAY for me, that the Lord would guide and direct me, and that the Dominican Republic, would be a nation of true worshippers to carry the presence and message of Christ from here and to the nations.

Your servant in Christ Jesus our Lord,

Ryan deWeerd
