The Holy Spirit

This beautiful morning (and as I side note I must comment that there are very few days here that I would label as 'unpleasant') I was reading from Oswald Chambers about the Baptism of the Holy Ghost:

The baptism of the Holy Ghost does not make you think of Time and Eternity, it is one amazing glorious NOW. "This is life eternal that they might know Thee." Begin to know Him now, and finish never.

Yes. This glorious filling of the Holy Spirit, which all Christians are called to live in every day, is the very active, living, powerful presence of Christ in our lives. Moreover, it enables our knowing God in a way otherwise impossible. It allows our life-giving relationship with the Creator to be one of intimate experience and not just knowledge of the facts of Him. May we cry out to God and endeavor to be filled with the Spirit every day more and more.
