Hey there, friends. Thought I'd put another little update up on the web. Lots has been happening. We just had our first evangelistic service in the street of one of the villages (Puerto Rico de Pie) - it was amazing! Friday night and Saturday night we filled the evening air with sounds of Dominican praise music and the Good News of Jesus Christ. The street was lined with people, and many people, including children, responded to the word that was preached. Some to rededicate their lives to Christ, and others to receive Christ for the first time. God was truly working. Praise the Lord!
One of our many trips into the villages took us well away from the roads and into the mountains to a town called La Jagua. The pastor there (you see him in the centre, to the left of Adrian with the helmet) is a wonderful young man, who God called to pastor a church there. We are praying about how we can help him see the kingdom of God advanced in this area. They put a big box of plátano on the back of my bike. And I felt very Dominican-like riding down the mountain carrying such precious cargo. :)
